The 2200 Series, Rockwell's latest family of FDDI adapters, provideshigh-performance, highly reliable networking support for a wide range ofcomputers utilizing the PCI local bus. The adapters are based on twoRockwell core architectures and technologies, FASTRACC(TM) and VDA(TM).The hardware-independent FASTRACC is Rockwell's custom, ASIC-basedAdvanced Communications Controller.
